Notes:  Placerville water and wastewater rates

Recorded here because they're not easy to find on the web.

This information came from a phone call to the City of Placerville at the beginning of October, 2011. Placerville's annual rate update occurs mid-year. These rates cover only typical residential accounts, not the entire rate schedule.


Placerville residential rates for a 3/4 in meter:

Water
    Basic charge          $24.38
    0-1000 cf               $2.60   per hundred cubic feet (ccf)
    1000-2500 cf        $3.11   per hundred cubic feet (ccf)
     above 2500 cf       $3.37   per hundred cubic feet (ccf)

Sewer
     Commodity charges are based on the account's water use during the most recent winter.
     New accounts in their first year use the city average for winter water use.

     basic charge   $143.88  Basic charge covers the first 700 cubic feet of use.
     above 700 cf      $6.54  per hundred cubic feet (ccf)
