This view looks down a hill, probably with about 1/2 mile of the march in view.  A mild enlargement is to the right; that stream of mottled light colors behind the signs and between the trees on each side is street filled solid with marchers. Similar lengths of marchers wrapped around a circuit of city blocks, for a total length of about two miles (my estimate). During part of the march this path was reported to be completely filled with marchers, in addition to those gathered at the start point and the end point.
