In a small proportion of responses the respondents checked two alternatives for each choice. In the latter case a count of 0.5 was assigned to each of the checked alternatives.

Also see Notes on dimensional composition roofing, provided to owners as basic background information, which indicated that only high quality dimensional composition materials would be considered acceptable if  we amend the Roofing CC&R to permit their use.
Regarding the most basic question, Should we amend the CC&Rs at all to permit high quality dimensional composition roofing materials, the net summary is as follows for the 100 responses that cited an opinion:
Statistically, this would predict an expected value of 291 votes in favor of a CC&R amendment with a margin of error of ±8.48%, using a standard 95% confidence interval to calculate the margin of error. The total statistical population size is 393, the total number of Waterford owners. (The minimum predicted result of an election with 100% response would be at least 257 votes in favor and not more than 325 votes in favor 95% of the time if such an election would be repeated a large number of times.)
